Our residential studies integrate structure directly into site contours. We treat daylight as a physical medium, carving clean rectilinear apertures that track the sun across raw cast-in-place concrete and unadorned glass.
By stripping ornamental excess, interior volumes connect uninterruptedly with terrain. Every joint between timber and cold-rolled steel serves both load and visual boundary.

Residential concept studies
Pavilion on Lake Washington
A low-slung cantilevered concrete volume embedded in sloping lakeside terrain, framing water views through continuous fifteen-foot glazed panels.
High Desert Monolith
Deep thermal mass concrete walls and sheltered courtyards designed around harsh sun angles, anchoring interior living spaces within rocky arid terrain.
Woodland Ridge House
A two-tier pavilion elevated above old-growth timber, utilizing vertical cedar screens and cold-rolled steel framing to modulate dappled canopy light.
Permanence through tectonic honesty
No superficial veneer or decorative pastiche. We plan spaces where every structural beam, poured wall, and pane of glass carries essential purpose.
